New promoter Voltage is coming in hard with a first event bringing in up and coming Israeli producer TOMBA to delight your eardrums ! This event is being held on 9th June at venue 'Underground' in City Plaza, Nicosia and sponsored by Redbull Energy Drink apparently, good to see some commercial interest these days i guess.
According to his bio Tomba " ... is the alias of Tel-Aviv (Israel) based Dubstep producer Tom Melloul. Although producing dubstep and electronical music just for over a year, Tomba had already signed on heavyweight labels and played along influential names around Europe and North America, quickly gaining popularity worldwide. Tomba produces extreme bassy sounds that make him stand out from others and his latest releases with Buygore prove just that."
Tomba will be supported on the night by local headz Breezer, Shocktone and Zonkmasta - sounds great,right ? Well judge for yourselves in a few weeks ! Entry is a quite considerable €25 on the night or €20 presale, but it is an open bar event and with doors opening 11pm and turf out at 4am - good chance to fill your boots if that is your thing !
