Originally from Larnaca, Cyprus, Rat (Andreas Hadjipadelis) set up camp in England to expand his musical horizons and networks as well as attend higher education establishments. Currently attending a post-graduate degree in MA Audio Production at the University of Westminster (London, UK) after successfully acquired his BSc (Hons) degree in Sound Engineering and Production at Birmingham City University (Birmingham, UK).
Rat started playing guitar at the age of 14 and soon began experimenting with other instruments. Andreas joined the band "Death Habit" in 2006 and with his original composition the band won second place at a national competition (Bands Fest) in 2007. Death Habit are still active and have finished recordings for their debut album "Silence No More" which will be released by Fishbone Records Ltd (date: TBA).
As experimentation is part of his every day life, Rat started a solo project in 2009 experimenting with electronic music mostly focusing on Dubstep, DnB, Trip Hop, Glitch Hop and Breakbeat. Besides his original compositions that are shared for free on his Souncloud profile, Rat joined the Ultraviolet Events team in the summer of 2011 and became one of the dubstep resident DJ's.
